In the past few weeks I have observed a number of students working on presentations for their classes. They are a tricky beast to master! - just ask any teacher. A variety of factors influence the success of your presentation, including but not limited to: your body language, your tone of voice, the interactivity of the presentation, and the visual materials.
If I could give students one tip to improve their presentation skills it would be to speak with confidence, not from a script, and in an engaging tone of voice. This is a skill that takes practice, but is one that will continue to be useful throughout your life.
